DU 2024 Agenda

By the end of the congress, participants will be able to:

  • Review impactful new evidence in the field of diabetes management that has emerged over the past year
  • Understand up to date strategies for prevention and management of diabetes complications (diabetic kidney disease, heart failure, neuropathy, retinopathy)
  • Develop an approach to incorporating and assessing use of diabetes technologies within clinical practice
  • Implement approaches that promote self-management among patients with diabetes
  • Develop practical approaches to initiating and managing the most current diabetes medications
  • Understand the current activities of the National Indigenous Diabetes Association
